Join us for the 2nd annual Island Children’s Festival at 5575 West Saanich Road from 12pm to 5pm to celebrate children, families, and our community with a fun afternoon of entertainment and activities.

Last year’s festival was such a huge success that Fred Penner will be returning to headline this year’s event once again!

Here is what Fred had to say about the 2012 festival:

The first annual Island Children’s Festival was fantastic. I was honoured  to be a part of this new venture. We do tend to get wrapped up in our busy lives and forget about some of the basic values that hold us together. Saturday we were offered this balance. Dozens of families shared the music and fun and laughter at the festival but more importantly  supported the Island Educational Access Fund and their work with special needs children. For more than 30 years I have toured the world performing for children and families and I never tire of seeing the glowing excited faces of the ageless audience. Memories were made on Saturday, and they will last a lifetime. Well done everyone!

See you next year – Fred Penner
